Dandavats! All Glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga!

The TOVP is ISKCON’s most important and historically significant project. In the short term the temple will provide the long-awaited new home for our beloved world Deities Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Sri Pancha Tattva and Sri Nrsimhadeva, and bring much attention and stature to ISKCON and the holy birthplace of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in Sridham Mayapur, the organization’s World Headquarters. In the long term the TOVP will become a world-class mecca for Krishna conscious enlightenment and education, and the spiritual center from which the yuga dharma manifests for hundreds of thousands of years into the future.

The situation is very different in much of the world- where Vedic cooking is uncommon. Children rate beans and vegetables from undesirable to abhorrent.

Being Silent about One's Achievements.
Question: In the Srimad-Bhagavatam, Lord Siva instructs Citraketu that instead of posing as a devotee externally while lacking in devotional attitude, one should keep one’s bhakti hidden and not pose as a devotee outwardly. In this connection, I sometimes think about how irresistible it is to speak about one’s accomplishments. When talking with friends or others you like to share what you have done and the value of it. In fact it’s normal in one sense. So how do we practically apply this teachin...

Cutting Through Impenetrable Karma.
By Sacinandana Swami
Have you ever asked yourself: What keeps holding me back despite my best efforts to advance and break the chain of undesirable habits? The answer, more often than not, is our karma. To be more precise, it’s the part of our karma that must be experienced and cannot be mitigated even through various methods like austerities or sacrifices. Can one who has sinned be a saint?
Sometimes people think that once a person has performed sinful acts, especially acts that are grievously sinful, he must be regarded as a sinner forever. This notion runs contrary to Vaishnava philosophy.
