Our senior devotees will leave us soon or later. It is all in the hand of Lord Krsna. Krsna sends His devotees here and He can also pull them out from here without any prior notice. It is entirely up to Krsna

Dear Devotees, Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. It was with great sadness that we heard of the tragic passing away of His Grace Gopiparanadhana Prabhu. He was a leading disciple of Srila Prabhupada who served him faithfully since joining ISKCON in the early 1970's. Whatever service he did in Srila Prabhupada's movement he gave his whole heart to, although he is best known for his translating and commenting on different Vedic scriptures following in the footsteps of his Guru Maharaja

What can I say about such a transcendental personality? He was surely one of the most advanced devotees. Although a great scholar he was sublimely humble and presented our vaisnava siddhanta in clear and simple ways that anyone could understand.

Dear Gopiparanadhana Prabhu, Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. It was with great sadness that I learned yesterday of your sudden departure from this world. Just weeks ago we were together on the festival tour in Poland. I considered it special mercy that you had joined us and that we could have your extended association for some time

“Gopi”? (Gopiparanadhana prabhu). Oh, no! Surely there is some terrible mistake! Not Gopi! Oh no; surely it is just a nasty, irresponsible rumor—that Gopi has left us! But no; only about an hour after receiving this terrible news, it is confirmed. Gopi has left us! Oh Radhe! Oh Krishna! Oh, why? Why do you take away such a sweet and valuable devotee from our association? Oh why?

I was shocked to learn this morning that my old friend and colleague Gopiparanadhana Prabhu had left his body suddenly at Govardhana. Just a few days ago I sent him a chapter of his Laghu-bhagavatamrta translation I had been reviewing -- and now he’s gone. What a loss for our Society and the world!

I just received the most disturbing news that our Godbrother, Gopiparanadhana prabhu left his body a few hours ago here in Govardhan. I've just returned from his house, which is next door to Iskcon Govardhan Mandir. I will give a short report here as told by his wife

I used to take care of Srila Prabhupada's garden in Sri Vrindavan Dhama in the summer of 1977. Srila Prabhupada used to come into the garden every morning and chant japa or listen to some devotees chant Bhajans or read his books outloud

We, the members of the Festival of India in Poland, would like to express our extreme sorrow and lamentation over your untimely departure from this world. We know that the Lord has a plan for all His devotees, but nonetheless we are finding it most difficult to accept that you are no longer here

It is with deeply sad hearts that we have come to know about the sudden passing of His Grace Aindra Prabhu. There is possibly no devotee in the entire world of ISKCON who has not heard one of Aindra Prabhu's kirtans, either live or from a recording, and has been left wondering whether this celestial singing was coming from this earth or from another world.

Alas, for reasons unknown to us, his worshipable Lord chose to take Aindra Prabhu in sudden and apparently unfortunate circumstances. His absence is reverberating throughout ISKCON in ways few, if any, others could have affected

HG Aindra Prabhu often performed bhajan until the dead of night. On the night of 16th July 2010, he probably did the same, and never knew it was his last day. Probably to cook some bhoga to Deities, he ignited the gas stove unknowing the gas leakage.

Here in Vrndavana so many people come to the temple for darshan and we can do kirtan here. But in the west you don´t get that many people to the temple, you have to go out to do kirtan. How often do you go out?

There's much to be sad about these days, but so many good memories to cherish. As I write this I constantly listen to the amazing recordings of his, that can only give a small taste of what it was like to sit beside him while he poured his heart out to their Lordships

It was with great shock and sadness that I received the news of his unexpected departure from this world. Over the days that have followed, whenever I was somehow reminded of the event I would feel the same shock again, followed by emptiness and woeful lamentation. Why did he have to go *now*!

Aindra had left us behind. I was shaken, shattered and shocked. I thought of flying to Vrndavan, but the arrangements could not be made in time

We were a small patch of devotees before, but as soon as Aindra Prabhu arrived, the hall in front of the temple Deities zoomed to its full capacity. A temple pujari adorned him with a thick flower garland...

You gave your life in “dedication with conviction” for sharing the ocean of transcendental happiness of Sri Krishna nama sankirtan with countless souls suffering the miseries of material existence. You dedicated your life to present the “Only and Final” solution for ending the sins and tribulations of Kali Yuga through the performance of Sri Krishna Nama Sankirtan

"When devotees announced we should pray for him, I thought "rather we should pray TO him, that we might also get dedication to chanting Krishna's holy name and go back to Godhead."

In the morning when Aindra prabhu didn't come to the temple to dress Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundara, the devotees then could understand that something serious had happened. With difficulty they broke open the trap door, and only one devotee, Adi Kesava Das, was small enough to enter the room
