When I vistied Sri Vrnadavan Dham after Gaura Purnima I had a desire to go to Radha Kunda to have darshan a the samadhi of HH Bhakti Swarupa Damodara Goswami. For those who may be wondering, His Holiness Subhaga Swami is recovering very blissfully in Bali, staying at the Radha Rasesvari Mandira. On Saturday the 21st of July, the devotees in Bali held a public seminar titled, "REINCARNATION AND KARMA". It was very well attended by many leading citizens of Denpasar.

......and there is a massive Krsna parade. They had massive floats and all of them were following and dancing and beating drums and handing out chocolate slice and things like that. There were singers and all sorts of thing and they just went nuts. Each time they paused someone would start a faster banging on their drums and the crowds of them went wild. They love a good dance!

Next Sunday, 23 July, Lord Jaganatha's Ratha Yatra will be held in Denpasar Bali. This is the third year for this big event and it will be attended by thousands of devotees. We are hopeful that both government and Hindu parishad officials will bless the opening ceremonies, which will begin at 10AM.

We, your local servants at New Panihati Dhama ISKCON Atlanta, thank all the devotees for coming to our festival. We understand the great expense most of you occurred to attend this year. Hotel costs were much higher than normal due to the many special events in and around the city that same weekend.

It has recently come to our attention that there is some confusion regarding Buddhi Yoga Society, and Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. Inc. (www.vaisnavascare.com). Although both organizations are concerned about the welfare of the Vaisnavas, they are separate and different organizations.

Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. (Counseling, Assistance, Resource, and Education for the Terminally ill and Their Families) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the devotees of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krsna when they require end-of-life assistance. Vaisnavas C.A.R.E. has an ever-expanding network of volunteers around the world who assist the dying devotees whenever and wherever possible.

Thirty years ago, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada requested us to purchase the Fisher Mansion as the new home for Sri Sri Radha Kunjabihari and the Detroit Hare Krishna movement. The media loved the Ford-Reuther connection, and Srila Prabhupada gave Detroit His blessings.
