World Holy Name Day is fast approaching – September the 17th. –Just 2 months away. It’s a Monday so it may not be practical for most devotees who are working etc. that’s okay – we can celebrate the day on the 15th or 16th or someday close to the actual date.

Special programmes were introduced: bhakta programme, bhakti sastra courses etc to try to fill the gap. But there is really no alternative in Kali yuga We talk a lot in classes and articles about chanting but ask ourselves, "How much are we chanting?"

As Kirtan is the single-most important activity of our movement, the GBC decided this year at Mayapura to form a "Kirtan Standards Committee". I would like to briefly inform you of the progress in this regards.
