I would like to get some feedback concerning certain methods that I have seen devotees employ in order to attract people to Krishna consciousness. These methods utilize young attractive females.

Srila Prabhupada personally opened the first temple in Fiji, the Krishna Kaliya Temple in Lautoka. During his visit to Fiji, Srila Prabhupada explained that the Kaliya serpent had now taken shelter of Fiji. This Kaliya serpent being a devotee, protects the other devotees

As you have probably read, one of Srila Prabhupada's dedicated preachers, Nirguna das is presently getting ready to leave his body in Sridam Mayapur. He is completely focused on the holy names and mercy of Lord Caitanya. He has requested that we arrange for certain items to be brought to him as soon as possible.

The authority figure (or institution) should not implicitly or explicitly promise to fulfill all the needs of the person. Better to assume a position of facilitator; that is to help one understand how to fulfill his own needs by being an autonomous human being.

Many devotees are under the impression that we should love Krishna and denigrate ourselves! Also we may come in contact with people who in the name of Krishna consciousness authority denigrate us, telling us that we are useless, hopeless, fallen, degraded, in maya, sense gratifiers, bhogis, etc.
