When we sleep and dream of combinations of past and present experiences, producing fantastic, weird or fearsome escapades from our mortal body, supervised by the Supersoul, they are often forgotten forays into the subtle realm. But our dreams are dreams within a dream within a dream.

Diwali comes from the word Dipavali which has two words dipa means light and avali means carrier. Therefore Dipa or Diya signifies 'coming to light'. In the Vedic Literature it is mentioned: "Tamasa Ma, Jyotir Gamaya" means 'Do not remain in Darkness, Come to Light', meaning 'come to spiritual awareness or awakening'.

About 50 - 75 souls, hungry and eager for the Lord's mercy chanted and danced. A simple feast of dahl and rice and HG Ratna Bhusana Prabhu's famous cookies filled all's stomach. While the procession was not a long distance and everything was very simple, I feel the efforts of all involved and all those that attended were the true offering.
