Srila Prabhupada often made reference to the fact that both in beginner's maths as well as advanced mathematics, two plus two is always equal to four. While advanced mathematics can be extremely complicated it can also be very wrong if the basic principles of simple maths are not adhered to. Likewise the same principle applies to relationships and if we fail to get the basics right in our relationships we will forever struggle with them. Absolute moral values are values that exist objectively and are true for all, even if only some or no one agrees to them, knows about their existence or can act contrary to them.

The world we live in speaks to us loudly, boldly, in no uncertain terms, according to our interest or necessity. What we want from life we notice and pursue. Other things we rarely notice due to lack of awareness.

Therefore it is resolved, That the World Holy Name Day Resolution passed by the GBC in 2007 is modified to World Holy Name Week. Centers are encouraged to celebrate for one day within the one-week time frame. If centers want to celebrate for more than one day, that is welcome.

Today the Principal Chief Wildlife Warden of West Bengal State, Mr. S. S. Bist, and the local District Forest Officer for Nadia District, Mrs. Lipika Ray along with two other Forest Officers, came to Mayapur to make an inspection of our Elephant Place and the Elephant Laksmipriya

Krsna can fulfill any purpose you desire. It is not very difficult for Him, because He is almighty, full with all opulences. So if you want something, material happiness, from Krsna, it is not very difficult for Krsna. He can give you mukti even. But to ask from Krsna anything else than bhakti is foolishness.

Any sincere practicing member of ISKCON will be greatly inspired by the large number of senior devotees and Prabhupad disciples who have been attending the successive festivals over the years.
