Jun 29 2008 Nrsimha Devi Passes Away
Yesterday morning during the auspicious brahma muhurta at 3:40 AM Nrsimha Devi, disciple of Srila Prabhupada and HH Tamal Krishna Maharaja, peacefully passed from this world in the Krishna Balaram Guesthouse in Sri Vrindavan Dham.
Around five hundred years ago, at Panihati, Srila Raghunathadasa Goswami prepared and distributed chida dahi (a preparation made with chipped rice and yogurt and fruits) to thousands of devotees on the banks of Ganges on the order of Sri Nityananda Prabhu.
