I was struck with the thought of how the Holy Name is a Deity which he was bathing with the Devotion of his Singing. From that day on I strove in my own meager way to make the Holy Name (and the Vaishnavas) my Deity and all the world my temple.

I have a little story to tell you about a gift I recently received from Krishna. He put me on notice about my life and service to Srila Prabhupada. I was told I have cancer.

The first two festivals of the Polish tour went exceptionally well, with thousands of people attending. Throughout both of them, however, devotees were meditating on the third festival - in the town where the deputy mayor had almost succeeded in canceling the event. It would be our biggest and most prestigious festival of the summer.

We have to understand that it is within our reach to make possible a complete overhaul of the society that is most necessary and urgent for this ailing world of false economy, misappropriate resource consumption, ecological imbalance, agrarian crisis, water scarcity, health challenges and civil unrest.

ISKCON had been invited to participate in a two days conference, "Faith in Action"- A Hindu Leaders caucus on HIV/AIDS, organized by UNAIDS and others. They were warmly received by the organizers, who upon seeing the devotees, exclaimed, "Oh! ISKCON sadhus have arrived!"

LONDON ; the land of kings and queens is the tourist destination of millions. It entices and enwraps the helpless entities falling prey to its tentacles. The heavenly land of illusion makes the poor souls forget the real purpose of life; embracing them till they breath the last.

July, 2008: Over the past few months I visited several ISKCON centers in North America and experienced many, many noteworthy devotional services and people. Here are a few bright spots which especially drew my attention.

Yesterday, July 13, 2008 the Child Protection Office released its official decision in a case regarding allegations against Gauri das of the UK yatra, for events occuring during his tenure as a teacher at the ISKCON-affiliated school in Vrindavana, India, during the 1990's.

It is a most wonderful experience to witness these merciful souls at work and really makes me proud of being a member of ISKCON. I just sit and watch this wonderful scene and it is difficult not to feel a warm sensation in the heart and eyes.
