Just as the new day after his disappearance brought the anniversary of Prabhupada’s preaching in the West, it is our hope and understanding that Sundararupa’s new day will be one of sharing Krishna consciousness for and with his Spiritual Master, Srila Prabhupada.

The next day I flew to the Greek city of Thessaloniki with Uttama-sloka das and several other devotees. Tara das and his wife, Radha Sakhi Vrnda dasi, had recently opened a preaching center there and had invited us to present two programs.

As the kirtan came to a close, devotees started prasadam distribution. Waves of people rolled in to receive the mercy of Krsna. A total of 800 prasadam plates were served. It was truly an amazing sight to behold; the mercy of Mahaprabhu was so clearly evident.

I feel I should say a few words about Sadaputa Prabhu, on the occasion of his disappearance, as I worked for him from 1988 to 2005, assisting mostly with book and video production.

In grief and dismay at the recent unexpected departure from this world of our dear friend and most valued colleague Sadaputa Prabhu, we cannot even begin to calculate the extent of our loss to ourselves as individuals and to our project.

It is with great regret that we have to acknowledge the passing of another senior member of ISKCON, Sriman Sundararupa prabhu. Husband of Sudharma dasi he had lived in Alachua FL for many years.

The work of a great man will touch the life of more people than he himself can know. In Sanskrit such a person is called ‘mahatma’.

I recently had the great pleasure to visit the 100 acre farm owned by ISKCON near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. I will first give a description of the farm, then second of the various services I performed there, and third I will speak about how I feel this affected my consciousness.

We are shocked and very sorry to hear of the sudden departure of Sriman Sadaputa dasa Adhikari (Dr. Richard L. Thompson) His work in establishing Krishna consciousness through science was brilliant and effective.

Whether you like it or not, Jehovah’s Witnesses are always ready to do two things (1) Distribute books (2) Sit down and talk with you, and help you to understand. ISKCON has many book distributors, but we need more gurus.

Take an example like Hayagriva Prabhu. As far as I could see he went back home back to Godhead, by Prabhupada’s causeless mercy. So who cares, what stupid things and mistakes he did in this world, if he’s back home, back to Godhead?
