By all of your wonderful efforts I am happy to announce that the Prabhupada Marathon 2011 is the most successful since December 1998! I pray that we continue this sacred mission of distributing books to every corner of this country, and in this way increase our offering to Srila Prabhupada... an offering that will surely make him smile

Something very interesting is happening in Sarajevo. In the last few months, people had been approaching our harinama team, asking them how to come to our temple. A group of young students asked for temple address and now they are regular visitors. One girl from that group told her mother that she was going to a Hare Krishna centre, and her mother told her that twenty years ago she had also visited the temple in Belgrade (Serbia), and read books about Krishna to her, when she was a little girl.

This is the victory of the whole ISKCON. Of course, ultimately everything was arranged by Sri Krishna Himself, and the whole credit goes to Him. It was very clear to me being in the epicenter of the battle, but still some devotees deserve special mention

We recently had a meeting with Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil (Hon'ble President of India) along with Smt. New Delhi: India on Tuesday described a complaint about the Bhagvad Gita in Russia as patently absurd. The government also promised Parliament that it was taking the controversy seriously and was closely monitoring the case. But the BJP is not satisfied and has even asked the government to declare the sacred scripture as a national book

ISKCON Leicester (UK) has finally acquired the HSBC bank building on Granby Street as the new home of Sri Sri Panca Tattva and Srila Prabhupada in the heart of the City centre, a Grade II* listed building built in 1875 by the famous architect Goddard. The Hare Krishna devotees lost their original place of worship last September, when the temple suffered a gas explosion. All of the 50 devotees within the building managed to escape the multiple blasts, uninjured. This was referred to as a 'miracle' by firefighters
