Primary School students from Sri Mayapur International School recently went on parikrama with H.H Bhakti Purushottam Maharaja. They visited Surabhi Kunja, Bhaktivinod Thakur’s house, Hamsa Vahan, Nainasaranya and Puskar tirtha. As they went to each holy place their kirtan attracted the attention of the local residents who followed the procession and joined in the chanting.

This month Grades 4, 5 and 6 visited the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium. Nursery and Reception classes went to see Laxmi Priya, the elephant who carries Sri Sri Radha Madhava during the processions. Grades 2 and 3 visited Caitanya Matha, where the local devotees enjoyed listening to the children singing bhajans.

Every month , Murti mataji, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada, who is a trained Ayurvedic doctor visits the Primary school to conduct Ayurveda sessions. The parents join their children in learning practical skills to keep the whole family healthy.

This week the children had fun watching Pyari Mohan prabhu’s Krishna Conscious Magic Show , happily chanted Hare Krishna with Gaura Vani prabhu and went to make cookies with Prema manjari mataji.

These are just a few of the activities the children took part in this month. If you are interested in enrolling your child in Sri Mayapur International School please visit Our new academic year starts in August.
