We are happy to announce that the most holiest month of Purusottam is being observed as Kartika month, here at Sri Krishna Balaram Temple ISKCON Vrindavan is organizing a daily month long programs which is live telecasted through our website: www.http://www.iskconvrindavan.com/balaram.html

Programs are as follows: 7:15 to 7:45 Vaisnava Bhajan by expert devotees.

7:45 to 8:00 melodious Jagannathashtakam by Bhaktivedanta International Gurukul students.

8:00 to 8:15 Sri Chauragraganya purusastakam and

8:15 to 8:30 Bhagavad Gita Purusottam Yoga and then Prasadam.

During Vaisnava Bhajan deep daan is being offered to Sri Sri Jagannatha Baladeva and Subhadra devi, Saligram Sila, Govardhan Sila, Radha- Shyamsundar (Jamuna boat festival), Tulasidevi and Guruparampara.

The presiding deity of this holiest of all months is Sri Purushottam (Sri Krishna) Himself. So, of all the months, this month is the most favorite of the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna. The sadhana performed in this month will have manifold result.

The Lord of the Universe - Sri Jagannath Dev is also known as Purushottam. Sree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu used to sing Sri Jagannath-ashtakam in Puri. So, we recite the same Sri Jagannath-ashtakam in Purushottam Maas. And we also recite Sri Choragraganaya-Purushastakam daily in this month and Purusottam youga from Bhagavat Gita.

Devotees are very happily participating daily in this programs and also many devotees coming forward and sponsoring prasadam knowing the important of serving Vaisnavas at Vrindavan Dham in Purusottam month.
