HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, HH Bhakti Vijnana Swami Maharaj and myself met H.E. Pranab Mukharjee, President of India on 1st November, 2012 at President House, New Delhi.HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj presented a copy of English Bhagavad Gita As it is and a copy of Krishna Art book to the President of India.
HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj briefed the President about the preaching activities of ISKCON around the world especially about Russia. He also apprised him of ISKCON Moscow’s new temple project.The President very attentively listened to Maharaj. Maharaj also invited the President to inaugurate the new ISKCON Temple and New Vedic Cultural Centre at Pune.HH Bhakti Vijnana Maharaj also updated about the preaching in Moscow and CIS.
His Excellency recollected his memories about his visit to Sridham Mayapur 20 years back. Then HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj invited His Excellency to visit Mayapur Dham again.
