New Orleans ISKCON, cordially invites all devotees to celebrate the fourth annual “New” New Orleans Ratha Yatra on Saturday Dec 1 & Sunday December 2, 2012.

This year we will celebrate our Rathyatra in grand style in the city that knows how to come out for a parade. We hope you’ll join us for the parade Saturday December 1st at Noon starting at Canal Street in the world-famous French Quarter with Lord Jagannatha, Lord Baladeva and Lady Subhadra.

December 2nd Sunday, we celebrate “Festival of India” with world famous playback singer, Smt Kavita Krishna Murty, performing live bhajans at Dixon Hall in Tulane University from 5:15 pm to 8:30 pm. We have free accommodations guaranteed for ISKCON leaders, as well as limited number of complimentary, quality hotel rooms on the first come first serve basis for devotees in general.

All prasadam will be at no cost. We will provide transportation from the airport if notified ahead of time. Registration is only $10 which includes your pre-booked accommodation for the 30th, 1st, and 2nd nights and parasadam.

We request devotees to register ASAP, as afterwards we may be unable to confirm your accommodation. We will provide travel fees for all Iskcon sanyasis originating within North America. Please contact us as soon as possible. We are anxious to serve all the Vaishnavas and give them a wonderful experience to remember.

So put New Orleans Ratha Yatra on your calendar and help Lord Jagannath raise the roof in “The Big Easy!” Humbly we are begging your wonderful association. Pack your bags, get in the car or plane and head on over to New Orleans. We’ll do the rest!
