All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Recently on 13th July 2013, with Srila Prabhupada’s blessings, we celebrated a joyful Jagannatha ratha-yatra in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. We would like to share these moments of transcendental joy with other Vaisnavas all over the globe.

By the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and Sri Jagannath, Sri Baladeva, Sri Subhadra Devi, we were fortunate to be instrumental in organizing the 6th annual ratha-yatra festival for Their Lordships on 13th July 2013 at Jamnagar, a city on the west coast of Gujarat state of India.
Srila Prabhupada once told that Gujaratis are natural devotees of Lord Krishna. Jamnagarians especially have natural affection to Lord Dwarkadhish hence people of this city enthusiastically participate in the festival every year.
Our festival was blessed and enlivened by senior Vaisnavas such as Sri Bhakti Vikasa Swami Maharaja, Sri Saccidananda Prabhu, Sri Haricandra Prabhu etc.
Devotees participated from various places such as Bhopal, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Dwarka, Junagadh, etc.
We had lots of Hari Katha by the senior Vaisnavas and lots of blissful kirtan. HH Bhakti Vikas Maharaj delivered several lectures in fluent Hindi with appealing message. He stressed on a point that people of Jamnagar are most fortunate having born in the land of Dwarkadhish but they would become most unfortunate if they won’t utilize this opportunity to cultivate Krsna consciousness. People were overjoyed by hearing from a foreigner, speaking in their own language, the message of their own Lord Dwarkadhish.
Thousands of prasadam packets were distributed along with the ratha-yatra procession and book distributors enthusiastically participated to give the mercy of Srila Prabhupada to as many people as they can catch.
Devotees of Jamnagar served enthusiastically. We request all Vaisnavas to pray to their Lordships to give us such opportunity again and again. We also invite you all to participate in this ratha-yatra festival which is held every year.
Local media gave a wide coverage to the whole festival. You can see the news clippings here:
