Dear Maharajas and Prabhus:
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
The health of Radhanatha Prabhu, the Srila Prabhupada disciple who joined on the east coast of the USA (in Philadelphia I believe) and who served on the Radha-Damodar party and remains a book distributor even though in a wheel chair for years, has taken a turn for the worse. He has been in a precarious condition for some time but a few days ago had to go to the hospital and is now in intensive care. His kidneys are failing, he has trouble clearing his lungs and breathing, and is on a resperator. The doctors are not very hopeful that he will pull out of it.
Through all his physical difficulties, Radhanath prabhu has been amazingly Krishna conscious, remaining happy and in a preaching spirit. He has many old friends in ISKCON so if you would like to contact him, here is how (assuming he gets off the resperator). Please keep him in your prayers.

It is true that although Radhanatha prabhu has been in just about the most difficult and uncomfortable physical condition you could imagine he has always remained fixed in his Krishna Consciousness. He’s been continually distributing books while in a wheelchair.
A while ago I was having a difficult time between jobs, out of nowhere Radhanatha called with some suggestions, as he was thinking about my welfare. He continued to ask about my job situation each time I saw him.
Amidst his difficult and uncomfortable condition he has been compassionate and kind, not only to the general public, but also to his godbrothers.
He reminds me of what a devotee is supposed to be like.
It is hard to describe the condition of Radhanatha Prabhu. He wasn’t just sitting in a wheelchair, as you might imagine, from the descriptions above. His body seemed like nothing more than a lump of flesh, laying in his wheelchair, everytime I saw him, usually annually at Rathyatra. It was difficult to look at him, because his body seemed to be made of pure suffering. And yet he possessed great beauty at the same time, because he is a devotee of the Lord, and an inspiration to us all. It has always been amazing to see him in such an extreme condition of suffering, year-after-year, and still he never gave up, and continued his service to Srila Prabhupada.
