Tamohara das: The New Raman Reti School (NRRS), a Krishna-centered elementary school, located in the Alachua, Florida devotee community, is seeking applicants for the position of an experienced elementary school teacher. The position will begin in August 2008.

The school has been serving the devotee community in Alachua since 1990 and is presently serving the needs of 52 students in grades pre-K – 6th, making it one of ISKCON’s largest elementary schools in North America. The school is committed to both a strong Krishna Conscious program, as well as academic excellence. We are seeking teachers who have a genuine love for working with children, who like working with a team, and who have strong sadhana. Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in education preferred and/or Montessori trained/certified
(Equivalent training or experience may be considered)
· Elementary teaching experience preferred
· Commitment to Krishna Consciousness and desire to spiritually inspire children

This is a paid position with salary based on experience and qualification. The school follows a normal 180 day school year with time off during summer, Holidays, etc.
