Food For All wins an Award
By Parasurama dasa
Yesterday Food For All won the ‘Recycling Project of the Year Award 2008’. It was a nationwide award with hundreds of organizations involved. The award ceremony happened at the Jury’s Hotel on great Russels street, which is next to Bury place the sight of the first Radha Krishna Temple. Television and newspapers were involved. We received £5,000, but more importantly, this award will open doors for us to develop the project. Last week we were runners up for the ‘Community Cycling Award’ because of our use of rickshaws.
