With all due respect to Mother Champakalata d.d. it seems strange to me that the GBC has allocated this kind of important service to a member of the fair sex.

Most of the "Leaders" of Iskcon are men. To police them properly one would think it would require an aggressive investigator. Do we want our ladies to have to give up all their shyness to do this job properly?

    Dear Trivikrama Swami Maharaja,
    dandavats! Jaya Srila Prabhupada!

I would be interested to know about the incidents where Srila Prabhupada "policed" ISKCON leaders as an "aggressive investigator". Do we want to deal with our leaders in such a way? And what kind of society are we, if we have to deal with our "best men" in such a manner?
Perhaps we do need a lady to show us how to act as perfect gentlemen?
Please don't take any offense. You will know better about the situation with our leadership and who is fit to deal with it.

    Your humble servant

      Hare Krishna Prabhu,

It does say the office will try to "prevent misconduct". If you don't like the word "police" we could change it to something more "touchy-feely". But the function is still kshetra like. I can't imagine Srila Prabhupada approving of having his daughters taking this kind of service.

Personally, I would not like my daughter, sister, or female disciple, to be put into this kind position where she would certainly be open to attack.
