Live Coverage from Sree Dham Mayapur Goes Wide-Screen -

Haribol Prabhus and Matajis,

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Sree Mayapur Dham, the capital of the world of ISKCON devotees.

The live coverage of the Mayapur Festival has now gone wide-screen and the video quality has also been improved.

Please check the schedule (bottom left tab) to find our when broadcasting is on in your time zone. That way you will know if the screen is blank, whether it is due to temproary internet failure, or there is nothing being broadcast (eg, when the Deities are sleeping).

We also now have part three of His Holiness Jayapataka Swami’s return to Sree Mayapur - very wonderful and inspiring footage.

And please leave a message in our guest book - it encourages us to do a better service.

In service to the wonderful devotees worldwide who are carrying on Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON movement,

The team
On behalf of team Giridhari Shyam dasa

Dear Devotees Please accept my humble obeisances. All Glories of Sridham Mayapur. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

This year we are making a special offering to Srila Prabhupada by putting Srila Prabhupada’s annual Gaura-purnima festival in Sree Dham Mayapur online, and six fancy cameras have been installed in the temple room with a high-speed internet connection (at £200 per month - so it had better be good). A broadcasting/mixing room has been constructed and a film crew have come from the UK to film around the campus. So this should be a really big deal for all our members, within temples and in the congregation.

Everyone will be able to hear the lectures of GBC memebers Live, view the Panca-tattva abhisekam, as well as the daily deity worship.

and much more.

So please put up this poster where devotees can see it, and encourage them to come online. You can, of course, broadcast it in your temples and the preaching centers, hopefully we will also have recordings available so you can also show those too.

If you have an e-mail list, please direct recipients to www. mayapur. tv where they can get access to information and sign up for e-mail updates.

This is a really exciting project and should give your congregation an amazing experience of ISKCON life - and its free - so please don’t miss this opportunity and let everyone know.

Hare Krishna,

Your servant On behalf of www. mayapur. tv team Giridhari Shyam dasa

Thank you very much for posting these wonderful videos. I am curious to know the make and model of the cameras used and how to contact the devotees behind the making of these videos. Also as much as I like the idea of “live video from Mayapur” I would prefer to see the the super excellent quality as shown in these edited versions even if we have to wait a few days.

Haribol Titiksava Karunika prabhu,
Thanks for the appreciation - the devotees are struggling hard to produce more videos like that. The latest of HH Jayapataka Maharaja’’s arrival to Sree Mayapur is not as high quality because they couldn’t upload it for some reason at hi-res. Vince is trying to keep videos down to 10 minute videos (except for classes) so they download at high quality.
They are using £600 canon cameras - except Lord Nityananda’s appearance had a £3,000 camera from Sinananda Sena prabhu, I think, which has great indoor colours at low light - but everyone is to busy to let me know exactly what make.
We want anyone who wants to get involved to get in touch, although with Tirtharaj prabhu trying to “fix” the server tomorrow (follow us on Twitter) and possibly Ravi getting the live installation complete, it imay be wise to wait a few days for a reply.
We may make the live broadcast for the Deity Maha-Abhisek on Wednesday 25th. That would be great.
Great you are interested - please e-mail us as Citraka prabhu suggested.

dear Vaisnavas
Please accept my dandavat pranams
All glories to Srila Prabhupada
HH Jayapatka Maharaja ki jaya.
I am personally very grateful to Jayapataka Maharaja for setting such a brave example to teach us all , still preaching strongly and inspiring devotees.Maharaja has been tested in millions of ways but nothing brings down his preaching spirit and devotion to Srila Prabhupada.I place his lotusfeet on my head.Maharaja is a true friend and wellwisher
to so many devotees. He is loved by all non envious godbrothers as well.
I last saw Maharaja in New Orleans last year with many loving disciples, at Ratha yatra ,may Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra bless us with many years of Maharajas wonderfull association.

Wow! This abhiseka video is stupendous!

I was very impressed in 2004 and it just keeps getting better and better. I hope I can be there in 2014.
