HG Kaliyaphani Prabhu, ACBSP left his body, 3 January 2019.
Please pray for Kaliyaphani Das, he was killed in a motorcycle accident around 9pm est.

Adikarta Das: Kaliyaphani was the hero of the great British sankirtan army that at that time was one of the best in the world. He was the rock that the traveling sankirtan parties were built on. This in the 1970’s. He was very surrendered to the mission. He joined ISKCON in 1975 and was from an aristocratic family, and went to an upper class private school called Sherborne. He did many years of managing and engaging in Lord Chaitanya’s mission. For that alone he must be very dear to Mahāprabhu. I spoke to him on Wednesday night, as he would consult me about different things. He shared with me that he was doing better in his spiritual life than ever, so I guess Krishna took him at an auspicious time. He was always a gentleman and very talented devotee who never, despite his personal challenges, ever gave up the lotus feet of the Lord. There is a quote in the CC, which I don’t remember exactly but something like this. ” Blessed is that devotee who always remains faithful to the Lord, and blessed is that Lord who never forgets his devotee.” I am sure we will meet again!

Srila Prabhupada, you are an ocean of mercy. Your servant Kaliyaphani dasa was always eager to serve your mission. Please, Srila Prabhupada, take our Godbrother Kaliyaphani Prabhu back home!

  2. Krishna-kripa Das says :

All glories to Kaliyaphani Prabhu for his faithful service to Srila Prabhupada and his mission.
I worked on book and video production for Sadaputa Prabhu, but after his last book, when I was just doing accounting and shipping, I was not so inspired, and I decided to do harinama sankirtana instead as my service.
Kaliyaphani Prabhu kindly agreed to take over my service for Sadaputa Prabhu so I could do that.
Kaliyaphani Prabhu was always helpful, serving out and cleaning up after the Alachua Sunday feast.
He almost always came on harinama, and he would sing lively upbeat tunes. He would also play harmonium to accompany others.
His presence was always a positive addition.
I hope that Lord Caitanya gives him His supreme benediction for his faithful service to His mission.
