Karunamayi Devi Dasi:Hare Krishna dear devotees,
all glories to Srila prabhupada!
Come and immerse yourself in the ocean of nectar which is the beautiful landscape and association of Saranagati and it’s sincere Vaisnavas. If you are looking to buy a house in the valley and need accomodation or have a getaway or would like to live here, this is an opportunity for you to experience the majesty of Saranagati first hand.
Many seniour Prabhupada disciples, many enthusiastic devotees, many visiting guests, wonderful programs make up what Sarangati is: CC class, Sunday feast, morning programs, Bhajan night, women’s meeting, Japa retreats, abbreviated 24 hour kirtans, Rathayatra, Spring planting and fall harvest festivals, Volley ball and soccer games, hiking. There is home-grown-from-the-heart festival every other week it seems. There is just ALWAYS something happening for an opportunity to associate and offer service. As there are many children in Saranagati, many of the devotees’s activities are centered around the kids receiving a beautiful taste Krishna Consciousness.
We are a group of devotees who are commited to serving Lord Caitanya and Srila Prabhupada by living simply, thinking highly and sharing glorious devotee association. And we are inviting you to come and experience the bliss with us.
Now, the house: It is a beautiful 2500 sq ft octagon shaped house with 2.5 levels, full facility kitchen, 27 fruit bearing apple orchard, running spring water (hot water and flushing toilets Yay!) lots of natural light, all of Prabhupada’s books, deities, access to Far Infrared Sauna, Auriculotherapist (Me !). We run on generator power and working (quickly) towards solar. Washing machine, bhoga, sauna, gas, propane and fire wood are all *included* in the rent. You have your own fully furnished bedroom and all you need to bring is your japa and sleeping bags and your personal (seasonally appropriate) effects.
In the center of our valley is our lake which is a 10 minute walk from our asrama. In the summer, at any time, you will find devotees swimming, canoeing or chanting there and this is where we hold our Rathayatra festival. The winter is also rich with it’s wintery activities outside. We will also have opportunities for Harinam Sankirtan in the nearby town of kamloops on a regular basis.
