I’ve lost my heart in Mayapur.. Again! (Album of photos)

Gopi Gita: It’s so soothing to be able to just walk down the guesthouse stairs to see my favorite Deities in the whole world – ever merciful Sri Sri Panca Tattva and gorgeous heart-throbs Sri Sri Radha Madhava.

Lord Nityananda’s appearance day was filled with so much mercy.. you could feel His omnipresent blessings permeating the air – I don’t even know how to explain it. Kirtan and the holy names are literally being called out all throughout the day..

Today we visited the birthplace of Nimai (Yogapith) Srivas Angan, Sri Advaita Bhavan & Gupta Vrindavan.. Seated in the different courtyards, we shared with the boys as many pastimes as we could about the main 5 Panca Tattva and the goswamis in the disciplic succession who reside here eternally. How cool it was to be right where Lord Caitanya performed his nocturnal Kirtans and where Chand Kazi broke the mrdanga. The pastimes they’ve heard since childhood come alive in these holy places. The boys were born in Sri Panca Tattva’s home in Laguna Beach, and that’s where my life in service began as an adult – under Their care. We all feel like we have arrived home.

The grounds in ISKCON Mayapur are so beautifully landscaped – like being in a total resort. The very air is thick with the peace of farm-life. The weather is idyllic like California days. Large gardens of massive roses, beautiful palm and coconut trees, comfortable pathways, delicious restaurants with steamies! And sweet Bengali heard all around.

I love love love Sri Mayapur Dham.
