ELEVENTH DAY (Rama Ekadasi):

Vraja Badrinath stying: Today 2nd November, It was a very wonderful event ( Mahamillan of the devotees); more than 300 devotees came from Vrindavan headed by HG Deena Bandhu Prabhu and HH Subhaga Swami Maharaja.

Actually there is three different Parikrama Party is going on, one main walking Parikrama headed by HG Radha Raman Swami and two different bus party Parikrama, headed by HH Subhaga Swami Maharaja and HG Deenabandhu Prabhu.

Everyone joined here in Badrinath today. It seems like a big flood of devotees in the forest of Badrinath. This is the most beautiful place in Vraja and the beautiful hilly forest decorated with thousand of devotees. Everyone was sitting under the trees and nectarines Harikatha was showering on them and the beautiful scenery was just like sages in Naimisaranya.

Harikatha was given by HH Radha Raman Swami, HH Bhaktipurusottam Swami, HG Kratu Prabhu, HG Jasomatinandan Prabhu, HH Kadamba Kanan Swami, HH Subhaga Swami and HG Deenabandhu Prabhu.

A brief description of Pastimes places :

BADRINATH: The Badrinath temple is 1 km south-west of Alipur village. Once, Nanda Maharaja and the cowherds wished to go on a pilgrimage to the holy places in the Himalayas. Krishna informed them that Badrinath and Kedarnath were manifested in Vraj and the same benefits would be derived by visiting these places. This is the Badrikashram in Vraj.

TAPASYA KUND: This kund is in front of the Badrikashram temple courtyard. This is a very beautiful and placid Kund. The pond water is always cool, for it is surrounded by large trees.

BADRI NARAYAN MANDIR: In this temple, the Deities of Lord Nara and Narayana are installed. Nara and Narayan Rishis are in deep penance here since time immemorial for the welfare of all living entities.

Badrinath Parikrama :

TRIKUT PARVAT: This is a celestial mountain visible here on earth.

LAKSMAN JHULA: In the hilly terrains of Badrinath, there is a confluence called Triveni Sangam and Laksman Jhula is nearby.

TRIVENI SANGHAM: Close to Laksman Jhula is Triveni Sangam. This is the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Sarasvati.

HARIDWAR- HARI KI PAUDI: Behind the Badrinath Mandir is Hari Ki Paudi and it is the Haridwar in Vraj.

RISHIKESH: This place is in the middle of the forest behind the Badrinath temple.

NARA NARAYAN PRAVAT: These two mounts are between Haridwar and Badrinath.

YOGA MAYA MANDIR: This is a beautiful ancient temple of Yoga Maya Devi made of rock. In this small temple, the Deity of Yogamaya Devi is established.

Vraj Badrinath to Kamyavan Via Kedarnath:

Today 3rd Nov, It was little cold. Everyone took cold bath and Parikrama started at 6:00am. On the way everyone break their Ekadasi fast with Sownpapdi and Churma Laddu. It was something special today.

One Brajavasi Mataji and her daughter amazingly appeared and shows us a shortcut way to Badrinath, not only that they beautifully sung Vraja Bhajan and satisfied everyone.

After the breakfast in Kedarnatha we proceeded to Kamyavan.

A brief description of Pastimes places :

Badrinath to Kedaranath :

ALIPUR: This village is 1 km north-east of Badrinath and falls en-route from Badrinath to Kedarnath.

PASOPA: This village is 5 km north of Badrinath on the Parikrama Marg. There is a beautiful Radha-Krishna temple here atop a hill.

DHAU BARAULI: This is a beautiful village located 1 km away from Paposa on the Parikrama Marg and 4 km south-east from Kedernath, and falls en-route from Paposa to Kedernath.

KEDARANATH: The Kedarnath temple is atop a hill and to reach there we have to climb nearly three hundred steps. In the temple, there is a small Siva Linga installed in a mini-cave.

GAURIKUND: At the foothills of Kedernath is the Gaurikund and the Radhakrishna temple is near here.

Kedarnath to Kamavan

BADALI: This is a small village near Kedarnath hill on its north.
