Murari Sevaka: Dear devotees and supporters of Murari Sevaka..
Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to His Divine Grace.
We just today had a disturbing event concerning the cow and oxen.
Apparently mother Yasoda and the oxen were attacked by a group of roving dogs.. Since she was milked at 3am, it must have taken place over the next few hours. According to the game warden, this is becoming more and more common. Mother Yashoda suffered severe lacerations on both her ears and many other wounds on her legs and neck. The oxen were also attacked. We believe because they have horns they received only minor scratches. Yasoda has no horns .we can only imagine the horror she went through.
The barn is just too far away from the temple. It’s almost a mile, so we couldn’t hear anything. We must be able to see and care for them closer to the temple.
This is an appeal to all the devotees to help raise around $4000 to erect a safe goshalla adjacent to the temple. we also want to fence with split rail wood fencing about 4 acres next to the temple. No more barbed wire.
Mother Yasoda and James before the event.
This was a very heart wrenching event. we really have to do better.
Radharani cried with sadness to see a calf with a thorn in its tongue, (which she removed). I can’t imagine that she is very happy with us at present.
Please help with this noble and essential service. we want to make Srila Prabhupada proud..
The construction will include a nice milking station and be constructed open air with matching blue roof. Keeping the children in mind, making it easy for them to visit and pet the cows.
