1993 MCI 102 DL3 CUSTOM COACH FOR SALE

If you have been waiting for the right coach, you don’t have to wait any longer. This custom design is geared for church youth tours with full cooking, showering and sleeping facilities for 25 to 30 persons. All the construction is straightforward and very sturdy, but easy to remove for future customizing. The user friendly design is fully functional as it is and can be converted to a luxury motor home without major effort by utilizing the existing mechanical systems and open layout.

Success starts with a state of the art Series 60 engine and Allison automatic transmission, a combination that offers ample power, low emissions, and smooth shifting. The air suspension keeps the driving silky smooth.

It’s no secret that MCI’s D- series coach is the largest selling coach in North America. Its reputation for reliability and ease of maintenance make it a favorite of coach operators and private users alike. This coach is built to last.

Check out these super features:

Body: 45 ft. long x 102” wide

Stainless steel body construction

Acres of storage space! Three full width bays (2 for storage, 1 holds propane and water system)

Plus an AC bay, Spare tire bay, Battery Bay, Small bay under driver, and easy access engine bay.

Tinted, insulated glass windows

Air powered door with air release and key lock. NEW air piston

Wheelchair door in kitchen (wheelchair lift has been removed)

3 Emergency and vent hatches in the roof

Dual headlights and side flood lights make night driving a breeze.

Engine: The proven Detroit Series 60, 425 hp with turbo, intercooler, and Jake Brake make powering up hills effortless and descending steep grades worry free. (Recent Top End service)

Mileage: the odometer says 144,033 but most likely is not accurate.

NEW radiators, fan, fan clutches, hoses, stainless clamps and all engine and accessory belts

NEW muffler and tail pipe

Both the engine and transmission have computer diagnostic links.

The clear Fuel Pro fuel filter shows you when to change filters. No need to crawl under the bus, no drips!

Transmission: The Allison 755CR 6 speed automatic was complete rebuild by Allison.

NEW drive shaft U-joint

A self steering Tag axle with lock option adds life to your tires and tightens the steering radius. NEW tag axle anti sway shock absorber and tie rod assembly

Air suspension with raise and lower option. NEW accessory air tank, rear leveling tank and rear leveling valves

Power Steering with NEW reservoir and filters, and new tie rod ends on front and tag axles

Tires are very good all around. (Michelins on steer and Goodyears on drives) Stainless steel wheel covers.

NEW shock absorbers, slack adjusters, and brake pads, drums and wheel seals

NEW air brake diaphragms all around.

180 gallon fuel tank.

OTR HVAC: 3 zones with a digital temperature control keep all the passengers and driver cool in summer and warm as toast in winter. (Zone 1: Main coach, zone 2: driver’s area, and zone 3: aircraft style parcel rack blowers.) NEW AC compressor shaft seals and clutch, heater discharge valve, line dryer and two main high pressure stainless steel hoses.

Electric: NEW, rebuilt alternator, 2 large bus batteries with a Vanner Equilizer and Mains switch.

Every part of this coach is built with integrity in Pembina MN, USA and Windsor Canada.

Here’s what you get inside the coach:

Interior: The spacious interior is divided as follows: The front room houses the driver, 3 bunks and 4 coach seats.

The main room is a flexible design that has comfy bench seating along both sides of coach that folds up into bunks within minutes. There are two bathrooms with toilets and showers. The kitchen is in the rear of the coach.

Features: Large front windows for those breathtaking views of the Rockies with separate shades for the driver and passengers to keep the sunshine tamed. Easily adjustable air suspension driver’s seat. The steering wheel is fully adjustable for angle and position. Enclosed parcel rack storage is strategically located above each seat. Air craft style HVAC vents and audio speakers are within easy reach above each seat.

Kitchen: The commercial style kitchen includes stainless steel counters, sinks and shelves, a water filter, a genuine stainless steel six burner Vulcan stove with a large oven, and 1” thick rubber non-slip flooring.

The Water system provides 100% of your water needs: The #3 bay houses 3 mammoth heavy duty poly tanks for 200 gallons of fresh water, 200 gallons of grey water and 35 gallons of black water. A third tank in the engine bay holds kitchen grey water. A 12 volt pump sends the fresh water into a high capacity pressure tank for distribution to the kitchen, bathrooms and sinks. Hot water is supplied from a heat exchanger in the engine bay. Standard RV hoses and valves drain the waste tanks. An electric gauge monitors the tank levels. Note: the whole system is easily removable for access to service other coach systems.

Propane is housed in the #3 bay connected to a standard switch-over regulator.

Extras: A complete set of parts and service manuals takes the guesswork out of maintenance.

Some straight talk about other stuff: The coach does not have a separate 120 volt generator or a 120 volt AC system. The exterior paint needs a good buffing and polishing. We fill the HVAC with Freon once a year due to a slow leak.

Reason for selling: Our congregation donated a 2005 MCI J-4500 to the Youth Ministry. We do not need two busses at this time.

Serviced by the best: Because of the responsibility of carrying youthful passengers around the USA and Canada, we professionally service the coach at MCI and Freightliner, with local mechanics taking care of small items.

Don’t miss this chance to share life’s most treasured moments in a preeminent coach.

Price $50,000 USD
