The loss of these dear devotees is a great shock. They will be missed by the Mayapur community.
Sri Hari Prabhu was one of the first devotees I met when I came into contect with the devotees in late 2001. He literally gave me shelter in the Chittagong temple in Bangledesh. “Why don’t you stay?” he urged me, showing me the room that he had reserved for me. At that point, I still wasn’t sure what I was going to do with my life–become a nun or a Hare Krishna. Sri Hari Prabhu’s kindness and encouragement came at a pivitol point, and every time I saw him here in Mayapur, I remembered how he helped me come to Krishna consciousness.
Gauri Mataji was my godsister, and I approached her for advice several times. She was always jolly and friendly, and always Krishna conscious. I will miss her and Yamanungi, who always chased me in the temple, displaying her Lord Nrsimhadeva pose.
Such a blessing that I got to know this family. I’m so grateful that this website is providing a forum for sharing.

Update on the availablity of Maharaja’s book:
Devotees wishing to read this fanstatic work in English or in Russian may contact Lila Smarana devi dasi on lila.smarana.NRS@cis.pamho.net. She is a very enthusiatic disciple of HH Niranjana Swami, and she is eager to distribute this book.

Hare Krishna, dear devotees:
As far as we at the Congregational Development Ministry know, Maharaja’s book is out-of-print. The Ministry obtained a copy through a devotee in Mayapur Dham who had a few copies for distribution. I think Maharaja’s disciples may have access to the book. (If any of Maharaja’s disciples are interested in re-publishing the book and distributing on a wide scale, please contact me on amrta.gopal.JPS@pamho.net.)
