Thank you Dandavat Administrator for posting these announcements so quickly, and putting the pieces together when there was no photos submitted. The cooperation is enlivening as we are all one family–Prabhupada’s family; Krishna’s family!
Thank you for your service.

Wow! This was amazing. My wife and I would see the photo at the top from time to time and wonder where Mother Isa is. We remember her there in Brooklyn. I also worked for the BBT. Back then it was still ISKCON Press. She was older than all of us–like our mother’s age. But, she was, although simple and shy, really into Krishna Consciousness. It is so nice; a real treat to see her again. And, even though her body is no longer working well, she still lights up when chanting Hare Krishna. All glories to Mother Isa!
Thank you all, and especially Niranjana Swami, for making this happen and posting it for all of the devotees.

The saying goes, and Srila Prabhupad has stated, “Even the pauper is proud of his penny.” Meaning, not only are leaders susceptable to pride but even the so-called least among us. Take myself for example: Although I joined the movement in early 1967 I don’t have much standing, or position, in Krishna Consciousness. Still because of joining Srila Prabhupada early in the movement I am given some recognition and honor. In the past I have enjoyed it to some extent, but lately I feel the praise is basically useless for my advancement. Rather, I see that it may be helpful for the advancement and humility of those offering respect. After many years I actually feeling like giving up the “desire to be honored by others.” I only hope that if I ever attain qualities that are worthy of honor that I do not succumb to taking pleasure from the honor. Thank you Pusta Krishna Prabhu for all your thoughtful posts. Your association is always desirable.

Dear Gopiparanadhana Prabhu,
I was waiting to see what your dear friend Kesava Bharati Maharaj would say. I knew it would be heart wrenching as he had so much valuable and intimate service with you.
I’m so sorry for myself that I did not take the opportunity to visit you when I was in Vrindavan for 4 months this past year. I know you would have been very happy to see me and give me some of your time, even though I have so little of value for you in the way of association. You saw me as a godbrother and an old friend from way back. Just like a few years ago when we came there to celebrate Govardhan Puja and we sat together taking prasadam. That was such a sweet time and I will always remember that.
Whenever I get proud I will simply think of your humility, and whenever I start to find fault I will simply think of your sweet nature to purify myself of those low qualities. Thank you for your encouraging association. Hoping to meet again, I will always remain,
