My Place of Birth: Nostalgia, Lessons, or Dread?

“Don’t worry about the imperfections and quarrels that occur in the society of bhaktas. I have heard one example that when you make ghee, clarified butter, the impurities rise to the top, and they must be removed. Whatever rationale one may have to explain this, know that Srila Prabhupad did not think them sufficient to abandon the association of devotees. Find some like minded bhaktas to associate with and stay in the fire of Krishna consciousness always.”

Hare Krsna Pusta Krsna Prabhu. Please can you explain a little more this paragraph?
Sorry for my ignorance.

Thank you.

Traveling festival of India 2008 from Croatia

Hare Krsna!

These devotees are great. They are determined and enthusiastic in their services. They relate very sweetly with each other and with whom all they meet. I feel showered by mercy to have a possibility to meet them few times a year.
I remember, once I was visiting them in their outstanding community for a festival and when I was leaving all of them accompanied me to the bus station at 11PM in spite of being tired from festival services. A demon like myself did not deserve such a accompaniment. Seeing, feeling and experiencing directly their attitude and mood brought tears to my ever dry eyes.

Your servant,
Namacarya das

Beware! The fault-finders

Pusta Krishna Prabhu,
my ignorant self does not understand this point:

“Srila Prabhupad overlooked karma to engage his disciples in bhakti.”

Please, can you explain?

Sorry for my ignorance.

Thank you.

Chanting Siva mantras

Hare Krishna,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

In the Bhaktivedanta Vedabase there are mentioned Levels of Authority between books, lectures, letters…

As I understand there it is stated that books are the highest level of authority.

In the comment number 6, Sikhi Mahiti Prabhu says we should follow what letters say, not the book.

Question: how to know which source of instructions (books, lectures, letters…) to follow?

Thank you.
