Srila Prabhupada’s brilliance

Thank you for posting this. Common sence is good thing. It’s also originates from Krishna. I wish devotees would use it more.

Kirtan Standards Committee

Also please bring back the simplicity and sweetness of ISKCON kirtan – Pancha-tattva mantra and then Hare Krishna maha-mantra – enough! No more sing-songs taken from indian movies and upa-sampradayas!
Here in Mayapur Bengalis sing anything they feel like including “nadia-bihari-gaura-hari… “….- which was condemed by Prabhupada, which is totally OFF philosophicaly (being an upa-sampradaya mantra) and very serious deviation which creeped into ISKCON kirtans, they also like to sing this strange movie tune “jaya-radha-ramana-haribol…” – this is the most often sang, as well as other diviated tunes and slogans.
They say that some of them are “bradjabasi”, but Prabhupada had given us nessesary mantras to go back home to original Vrindavan, we do not need to pick anything off the streets of mayavady and bhogus sadhu infested Vrindavan (what we see at present with our non-perfect sencies).
The worse thing is that even when sometimes management tries to get on these “kirtaneer’s” case and get them in line – just then some travelling “ecstatic” ISKCON sanyasi(guru) comes along and start singing in “Vrindavan-style” instead of Prabhupada-style… and all the endevours to get kirtan onto right track go to hell again…

GBC Gathering in New Vrndavana

this controlling mood is gone far to far… Constitution? It is constitutional RIGHT of every living entity to serve Krishna and to endevour to come back to Krishna. Any other “constitution” will simply make ISKCON into a sect, thus defitting the preaching purpouse of this movement.
Control kills the movement, in order to control nicely things are kept as still as possible.
Movement is in PEOPLE who already have the “constitutional” right given by Krishna to be devotees.
Please do not kill this movement even more.

To All You Naughty Chocolate Eaters – Beware!

I have a simple home recept for those who want to eat chocolate no matter what:

mix well (blend) equal parts of:
– honey,
– coco powder or carrob,
– non-salty batter
(you can add wall nuts or other nuts for the extra taste)

then put into deep freezer for a while

This is REALLY enjoy-able prep, much more excieting tasting than commercial chocolates of any brand.

Hare Krishna!

Urgench: Krishnaites persecuted as public enemies

Hope you will find some insperation reading articles on this website –

Devotees had been always facing trouble in this ignorant part of the world infested by very heavy demons. Please keep your faith in Krishna and try to feed prasad to people and even if possible to some officials – that will slowly affect their consciousness. But even if this is not possible – just remember just by repeating name of Krishna or saying Krishnaits – they are unknownly to themselves weekenning their demoniac power, their rock-like hearts are going to crack beyound repair. You may not see it just immidiately, but you are going to see it in your life – that’s for sure. You should not loose you faith, please be strong for now – this sacrifice will be rewarded most sweetly by Krishna.I have seen it, and I have expirienced this myself (I have been arested 50 times while distributing the books in Moscow and other Russian cities priveously).

Book distribution in my home town

My father stomped, screemed and went in total outrage when I joined Hare Krishna almost 20 years ago,but in 1997 he came to Mayapur to visit me and spend here 2 weeks.

I was worried how to keep him here, he is quite wild man…
But he was so impressed and heart-melted by devotees – he danced in evening kirtan jumping and dancing with devotees, he swam in Ganga every day with breaks for Bhagavad Gita readings, he finished reading BG from cover to cover while in Mayapur, he eat Radha-Madhava maha-prasad for lunch. He went home with deity of Gopal, which he picked up in outside of Main Gate shops, he put Him on top of TV in the house, back in Moscow, and still 10 years later he is “talking” to Krishna, telling him how things are going and even offers Him a glass of water.

After that trip to Mayapur his scientific activities as well as business went way up. Recently I remind him of that and said that he should come to Mayapur again for God’s mercy and he disided to come in October (Kartik).

Also, preaching to some karmi photographers on the web I can see more and more that Krishna is all atractive and we don’t need to try to control in which way people should be attracted to Him, our business just to try to be nice devotees ourselves and present Krishna what way we can, basicaly just to make association available for people to come in contact with Krishna and He will take care of attracting them.

Recent mercy story

Prabhu, Please bless my father to recieve such mercy too… He visited Mayapur one time few years back and he really wanted to “buy” our Nrisimha Deva to take Him to his house…(!)… I was thinking at the time that he is being offencieve… he is very very gross karmi.

Prabhu, Please bestow your blessing that this time (he is coming in Kartik) my father will have a more genuing attraction to the Lord Nrisimha and Pancha-Tattva and Radha-Madhava & asta-sakhis.
