words of wisdom. “too many chefs spoil the soup”. Let the chef finish the soup the way Srila Prabhupada said he liked it. Not the way “other devotees feel” or allow the masses to design / make the soup via internet poll!

Do yourself a favor: take your TV and throw it in the garbage. Then go to the home of your best devotee friend, take his TV and throw it in the garbage. Then, together, go to another devotee friend, take his TV and throw it in the garbage. Continue the process till your whole community is rid of the pest.
Is this a quote from the Taliban?

Praise to Suresh Das for his brave honesty in being alone defending the non uttama adhikaris.
Krsna Consciousness is a PROCESS. Not a rubber stamp.

“Unfortunately, this philosophy is not adhered to by the proponents of liberalism. In an effort to display âopen-minded, inclusive, lovingâ personae, we are subject to public displays of misplaced âaffectionâ by those who believe that men and women greeting each other with embraces is a loving exchange.”
What a ridiculous statement.
Seeing someone hug someone is not a disgusting thing! The Sastra you quote does not say it is terrible or bad. People hug according to their relationship. Just like it says.
By being “subject” to it are you going to fall down? are you going to die or become ill?
Someone that hugs someone is now blasted as a “proponent of liberalism”? Nonsense.
If you weren’t on the bodily platform yourself this wouldn’t be a problem for you. Chant Hare Krsna and this fixation on bodily concepts will clear up for you and you won’t have to write a long article about the evils of hugging.
“it is actually protection of women-that no man other than her close family members look upon a woman is a display of loving affection by the husband and family; not that she is free to be looked at, touched, and enjoyed by every man who happens to pass her by”
Will your next article be about the virtues of wearing a Burqa or maybe ISKCON starting up a vice & virtue squad?

Then post the words of the Acarya and Sastra not some Born again christian backed “conservative thinktank”.
Is Dandavats now a podium for right wing christians?
Of course there are problems in marriage among devotees and everyone else in this world. It is Kali Yuga! Divorce will happen whether anyone likes it or not. Even amongst devotees. I can think of at least 10 couples that married very young and early not because they were so in love or dedicated to each other but because one or both of their Guru’s set it up for them. And most of them have divorced. And just as sad is half of their Gurus are gone. And then in turn they are gone. Divorce is not a black and white issue. Krsna Consciousness is the answer and who gives that to us? Guru, Sastra, Sadhu! Not the Witherspoon Institute.
If someone wants to write a paper from a Vaisnava standpoint, with reference to Guru, Sastra and Sadhu this is probably the place to post it. I’m just very concerned to see this non vaisnava writing posted here. Devotees can read this garbage whenever they want by searching on google. We don’t need Dandavats.com contaminating a vaisnava webspace with mental speculation. Not to mention the fact that every one of the “Fellows” of the Witherspoon institute is a “conservative” Christian. and to them as Vaisnavas we are considered a cult. So why should their literature be posted again?
If we post this article by the Witherspoon institute why not post so many more other non Vaisnava related articles?

Why is this even being posted?
There are no quotes from Guru, Sastra and Sadhu therefore it should have very little to do with us. We have nothing to do with speculative ’science’.
Who is “The Witherspoon Institute” anyway?

There is absolutely no point in talking to Ajita Krishna Dasa as he denies the power of devotional service, the right of everyone to devotional service and clearly demonizes all gays and lesbians. Nothing anyone says will change his mind. Prabhupada has said that you will know a Vaisnava because he will be a perfect gentleman. Is Ajita Krishna Dasa a perfect gentleman? Can not a gay person be a perfect gentleman?
Lord Caitanaya wanted the Holy Name to be chanted in “every town and village” by everyone, not just the “quality” villages and the “quality” people.
“Homosexuals falls outside the varnasrama system. They are too fallen!”
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
Chant Hare Krsna and be happy. Leave the arguing nonsense to non Vaisnavas.
