Where can one find more information about the ‘Disciple Course’ in resolution number 305? Who are the people one needs to approach to obtain more information in this regard?

GBC Zonal Configuration Marches Forward

This is an excellent initiative by the GBC SPT. In many parts of the world 90-95% of ISKCON consists of congregation members and not resident full time devotees. Many devotees who’ve been serving at any ISKCON temple as a congregation member fail to understand what role the GBC has to play in their devotional lives. It’s a big question mark that needs to be answered. Hoping that this will initiative by the SPT can address some of the issues at the ground level.

Philadelphia 2011 Ratha Yatra Report to Srila Prabhupada

I never could participate in a Ratha-Yatra when I lived in Philadelphia. I’m sooo happy reading this report. The congregation has really developed to a great extent under the guidance of Srila Ravindra Swarup Prabhu. I hope one day I will be able to participate in this festival. All Glories to the Ratha Yatra Leadership Committee and All Glories to Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva, Subadra devi and Sudarshana.

Hare Krishna. All Glories to the GVT for their efforts on devotee care in NA. Is it possible that these audio recodings could be archived for the benefit of devotees who are unable to attend owing to time zone constraints?

Dear Mother Shyamapriya,

Please accept my respectful obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I would like to first congratulate you for your glorious life and also your upcoming departure. I am sure Krsna has a very special destination reserved for you. Although we never met in person we had worked very closely for nearly a year together for the ISKCON Prison Ministry. Under your direction, we had sent hundreds of books to many aspiring devotees in the prisons, answered many personal letters and helped reform many people to come to Krishna Consciousness. With your guidance many people transformed themselves and influenced even the chaplains to consider taking full sets of Srila Prabhupada’s books.

Although the society doesn’t know much about the efforts of the Sankirtan devotees within the Prison Ministry I remember how you supported book distribution to the prison facilities.

Later on you were not so sound financially, but whenever there was any little surplus, you would spend that money to buy books and send it to the prisoners. You wrote thousands of letters to help many people and helped them gain a taste for Krsna Consciousness.

We couldn’t connect much after you moved away from Arizona, but I still remember how you would narrate the challenges living in this material world supporting a family, raising kids and also maintaining ideal standards to preach Krishna Consciousness.

You have lived a glorious life and I hope you have a Glorious departure from this material world. I hope your legacy continues within IPM. I’m sure there will be many who will miss your counsel and association.

I don’t know if we will be able to meet in person in this lifetime, but I hope to meet you back home soon.
