Description of person from Alachua who cheated gurukuli couple
it would be helpful if you could find a photo of this person. if he kept visiting your temple for any amount of time, it’s likely one or the other devotee or visitor got one…

bhakta kannan prabhu, dandavats.
reading that you are active in secondlinfe got my attention: i was planning to research more into this whole phenomenon, after reading that christians and other religions have representations in this virtual world. some christians, apparently, take this quite serious and are out to preach to people “living” in second life, never mind it’s only some virtual representation.
at present i’m not sure i like the idea, or would recommend for devotees to get involved there - simply because my slow internet connection didn’t allow me to participate or even see this type of thing.
would be nice if you could get in touch with me (phani@namahatta.org), if you have any interest talking about your experience there.

I wish to chat with some iskcon devotees online
hare krsna shrinivas prabhu,
i’m living in rural india and my slow internet connection doesn’t allow me to use instant messengers, but i’m managing the congregational development ministry’s web site, http://namahatta.org/. we have a ‘content-channel’ for devotees using the internet, incl. audio- and text-messengers like skype, etc., at this address: http://namahatta.org/nh2/en/internet_preach/
i’ve posted your request for online-association there and hope that some reader will try to contact you. it would be helpful, of course, if you provided your online-identity on skype, or whatever instant messenger you’re using. you’re most welcome, of course, to join namahatta.org and subscribe to this ‘content-channel.’
i’m trying to provide information there about online-preaching, including web sites that offer online programs, like the “vaishnava connection” at http://vconline.biz/ - a web site based in the UK, offering online morning-programs, and while i’ve not participated in any, i’m sure devotees there would be happy to ‘talk’ to you.
apart from that, while i can’t talk to you online due to technical limitations, i’d be happy to answer questions or help you in any way i can via email (phani@namahatta.org).
ys phani.
