Srila Prabhupada Puja and Murti Care Standards

Hare Krsna,

Thanks for a nice compilation for the care of the deity of Srila Prabhupada. I would like to add to the point of Srila Prabhupada giving SB. There should always be devotees by the side of the deity to fan Srila Prabhupada during the whole class with a chamar or a peacock fan or maybe both depending on the whether.

Also during the Tulasi Arti the devotees should stand in a way to avoid come in between the deity and Tulasi maharani.

Dr. Karad presented with 3 hours of Srila Prabhupada DVD

Hare Krsna Prabhu,

Dandavats and AGTSP.

Its great to see the leaders of the society getting the mercy of Srila Prabhupada. This is the ONLY way this society can be saved from the hellish conditions which await all of those who don’t hear this transcendental science.

Wishing you all the very best for your future endeavors for Prabhupada.

“Lets remember Prabhupada every now and then and become happy even in this material world. Thats perfect.”

Thank you very much for the valuable time and the mercy you gave me in Juhu, Mumbai.

your servant,

The Diary of Ratnavali Devi Das

Thank you Patit Pavan Prabhu….for your wonderful article. It has given people conviction about life after death (sometimes even devotees don’t have full faith in this matter). This really shoudl make sadhakas a bit more serious as whatever you will think at the time of death you will achieve.

This article of yours very beautifully proves the words of Krsna beyond doubt. wonderful.

@ Dasan Pr – Your calculation seems to be well done and technically should be alright but the thing is that all this may not be applicable to a sincere Vaishnava. There was one disciple of Prabhupada, HH Danavir Goswami mentions in his book – HIS DIVINE GRACE, a Muslim who left his body after the Janamastami festival. Later Prabhupada remarked that when someone is sincere but due to conditional or so called temporary situations he may not be able to do his devotional service nicely…. KRSNA as a favour takes away that body and gives him a birth immediately in a pious family.

Even in Barat Maharaj pastime although he didnt achieve perfection where does Bhagavatam state that he was taken to Yamaraj and then given a body of a deer or when deer left he was taken to Yamaraj. That means even if he was taken (which is debatable) the Bhagavatam goes to the essence and that what we need to see in this article by Patit Pavan Prabhu…who is an authority in this subject matter and moreover a true follower of Srila Prabhupada.
===========================================

I think it should be seen in a way that one needs to have a one point focus and execute his devotional service with great faith and thus at the time of his death one can remember Krsna and go back home back to Godhead.

Pls forgive for any offenses. My language can be a bit harsh at times.

The Unique Sacrifice, The Sacred Bond

Hare Krsna,

Nice article which surely will make the reader feel immense gratitude for these prophets of the Lord who laid down their lives for protecting the vaishnava culture.

There seems to be some missing part in the last paragraph of the article. The holy head flew into the lap of (????) The World had seen a miracle and the Mastery of the Sword at Delhi the like of which they had never seen before.

It will be nice if it can be completed.

HG Aindra Prabhu I know

Thank you Prabu for sharing your pure love for Aindra Prabhu. Infact when i was reading i felt the same way when i first saw him…I dont have any musical abilities…and add to that i am terrible at following…but his kirtans were phenomenal and to be very honest…i could feel whole Vrindavan manifesting in his kirtans.

It became a habit for me to run for hi kirtans at 6:30 pm and reserve a seat close to the pillar he used to sit. But then it was not easy as you need follow his tune properly otherwise there was a transcendental chastisement ready for you….

Non political..humble…grave sadhu thats what describes him for me….All Glories to you Aindra Prabhu. Miss you 4ever….Vrindavan will be be the same for me !!!!

Please bless this conditioned wretch with some taste to chant the Holy Name…

Jai Radhe Shyam !!!!

ISKCON Namacharya Aindra Prabhu

Dear Prabhus,

PAMHO.AGTSP.

I fully agree with KKPr for his insight and would also suggest to have another title in honour of HG Aindra Prabhu. There is no doubt in anyones mind about the exhalted status of this personality who made Hare Krsna Mahamantra his very life and soul. He transformed lives just by sitting there in Vraj Dham and chanting the Holy Names.

Once i asked him ahy he doesn’t go out for preaching and travel. He answer was quite profound. He said,”I am already doing that through Hari Naam Sankirtan which is the Yuga Dharma so why should i leave this place.”

No doubt an irreplaceable loss and yes we need to pray TO him rather than pray FOR him to give us some taste in the Holy Name.

Sripad Aindra Prabhu Ki Jai !!!!!

Departure Of Ayendra Prabhu

Thank you very much Maharaj for your post. You have very strongly on the sastric grounds proved beyond any doubts whatsoever may rise within our dull heads..the final destination of Aindra Prabhu. Somehow we have this conception that devotees should leave bodies like very peacefully surrounded with devotees all around chanting Hare Krsna. Its good if this happens like that but for devotees like Aindra Prabhu Lord makes some very special arrangement … as mentioned by you so meticulously. Indebeted to you for this wonderful offering.

Well… We Just Got Divorced

Hare Krsna,

Dandavats.

I think this is one of the biggest problems within our society right now. The modern stressful lifestyle and previous conditioning has made it even more difficult to sustain a good grhastha life. Moreover when there are no children it becomes even more easy as there is hardly any responsibility.

One needs to understand that man and woman natures are generally not compatable or so to say quite different. Even in higher realms there are disagreements between husband and wife…Lord Shiva and Parvati hag their disagreements. Even on earthly plane couples used to have disagreements but they never went for divorce. Actually there is no synonym for divorce in Sanskrit because it just didn’t exist in the Vedic society.

One reason which is believe is prominent is a lack of good training in the beginning both with boy as well as girl and the culprit is our modern education system which is making us more or less like Hi-Fi animals.

Secondly there seems to be a lack of Higher Purpose to sustain the marriage. If both the parties follow their egoistic ways then there is no future in that relationship. Forgiveness protects a relationship ..without it no relation can ever sustain on the material plane.

This subject matter is very very sensitive and cannot be genaralized anyway but i would like to thank the author for such thought provoking subject matter and one of the biggest evils in Vaishnava society these days.

Book distribution is calling. Where are you?

A very good article !!!! Appreciate authors energy and sincerity as relfected in the article itself. Definitely will try this out as i am also a frequent traveller… It may be difficult for people going on the same route daily at the same time but surely should work for those who travel to different places at different times.

Thanks for adding a Krsna Conscious dimension to Travelling. Lets make it even more exciting and invigorating.

Dandavats Patit Pavana Prabhu,

All Glories to our only saviour Srila Prabhupada.

Nice to have you back on dandavats with another trancendental tale of pure love and devotion. ISKCON has grown over the years now and by the mercy of Krsna and hardwork of the devotees has really entered into the annals of history. These heart melting pastimes become even more pleasurable in the present day ISKCON.

These pastimes not only nourishes the faith of the upcoming sadhakas but uplifts the spirits of the senior devotees also. Your contribution has really made me visit dandavats more often now to seek some divine energy emanationg from your thoughtful articles. How Much Can You Tolerate?

Dear Maharaj,

Thank you very much for your absorbing article. The thoughts are quite humbling and with your realizations have become even more penetrating. Actually every difficult situation can be instead taken as an oppportunity to surrender more unto Guru and Krsna.

This was an excellent summarisation of the whole article :

“We all face situations that are painful and difficult, and we want to do what is just and right–ultimately, what will please God. If we act on the basis of our true self, the soul–not the body or the mind–with faith in God, to please Him, to present His message, He will give us the intelligence how to proceed and we will follow His direction.”

There is so much to learn out of this and yes thats what we have seen in our lives the more we do the will of God the more we advance in our spiritual lives.

your humble servant,
vibhava krsna dasa

The Legend of Vishnujana Maharaja

Thank you very very much Patit Pavan Prabhu. The nectar you have started with all these wonderful pastimes of the most wonderful associates of Srila Prabhupada is so spiritually uplifting. We keep on hearing the philosphy and at times it seems so dry and difficult to follow or execute…. but when we hear or read about personalities like that of HH Vishnujana Swami Maharaja all the imports of the scriptures take life in front of us in form of their immaculate devotional service they perform here while on this planet. And you need HH Suhotra Swami to understand such personality. I really miss his divine association through his transcendental words.

All Glories to HH Vishnujana Swami.
All Glories to HH Suhotra Swami.

VISHNU at the Thailand Airport

Hare Krsna Akruranath Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

You are absolutely correct. This is Bangkok airport. I was there couple of months back and even i was shocked to see this beautiful presentation of Vedic culture in this part of the world. This convinced me of Prabhupada’s words that this whole planet was Bharat Varsa and ruled by one King once upon a time. I was there for a week for a buisness program and i could see some remains of vedic culture there.
The names of the people and especially their present King who is known as Rama Vth. Another wonderful experience i had was when they called for dinner in a Thai restraunt. Although they serve all sorts of nasty food there and what all i could have there was a glass of orange juice. But they way served was totally vedic…. we were told to take out our shoes before entering and later food was served on wooden small tables 1″ high which means you have to sit down and eat.

Then came the most surprising moment. There was some cultural show going on simultaneously and here i saw the depiction of RAMAYANA through music. Everybody seemed to be aware of this epic.

Unfortunately couldn’t meet any devotees there. I think we have some devotees there not aware of any centre there. Just wanted to add on to something you wrote and yes i strongly agree that these kind of depictions should be there in the Vedic Planetarium.

your humble servant,
vibhava krsna das

Memorial for Sudama

Hare Krsna Akrurnath Prabhu,

Dandvat Pranaam. AGTSP.

I have read only first three volumes of Memories ( dont know if there are more volumes). Only in first one Tape 5 Sudama Prabhus memories are mentioned and i couldnt find anything related with this. Although Prabhupada did tell him that he was a Japanese in his previous life.

I am not sure if other volumes are there which might have his other memories.

Hare Krsna Akruranath Prabhu,

PLease accept my dandavats at your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I heard the same story but couldnt trace out the authencity of the same. It was also mentioned that while leaving the world Sudama Prabhu actually saw Prabhupada coming and saying,” I knew you will come” before leaving this world. But it seems to have lost its authencity with this firsthand experience of his deaprture.

Hare Krsna,

Please accept my dandavats at your lotus feet. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Words fell short to describe the beauty of this article. Thats really something special. It will further strengthen our faith in our saviour Srila Prabhupada. This proves whatever he said is TRUE. This is the proof.

Reading about the departure of this pure servant of Prabhupada has definitely helped me on a personal level to improve upon my committment for the movement of Srila Prabhupada. Why in this world should we be afraid when we have the shelter of the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada and his sincere followers like HG Sudama Prabhu. This article not only makes us remember the valuable services and sacrifices Sudama Prabhu did for our society but also gives a glimpse into his exhalted status as a pure Vaishnava. Highly recommended for neophytes like me.

Thank you very very much.

Punk rocker becomes devotee

Hare Krsna Sukhada Prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I have no other word except .. Beautiful to describe what you have written. It was really inspiring and touching. Actually once we come into devotional service become fixed up, get initiation and do various services in the temple ……in between all this we somehow forget the people who got us to this wonderful family of Srila Prabhupada. Its so important to be Grateful to those wonderful jewels for saving us from the onslaught of this world. Only a Grateful Heart can Cultivate Bhakti. This will help us in remaining fixed in our joyful position of the servant of the servant.

Thank you very very much.
Your humble servant,
Vibhava Krsna Das.

Realizations of a Departing Vaisnava

Hare Krsna Bhakt Rasa Prabhu,

Please accept by humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Thank you very much for sharing your realizations. It was kind of an eye opener for a struggling devotee like me and will help me to become more serious in my chanting and hearing. Your clarity of thought and your absorption in the Holy Name proves your sacrifice for the movement of Srila Prabhupada. Surely you will be rewarded with an eternal life full of bliss with Krsna and Prabhupada.

I pray at the lotus feet of Lord Narshimadeva to protect you from all unwanted thoughts whatsoever so that you are able to focus your mind on the Holy Name of Krsna and His pastimes and leave this mortal miserable world for eternity.

your eternal servant,
Vibhava Krsna Das.
