I thought that Richard L. Thompson (Sadaputa Prabhu) of Bhaktivedanta Institute Alachua had already done the major foundational work in that respect - his Mysteries of the Sacred Universe, Vedic Cosmography and Astronomy and Alien Identities are superb and comprehensive expositions of the Vedic worldview, both from a devotional and scholarly viewpoint. The CD-ROM that he produced in that regard, as a companion to Mysteries of the Sacred Universe, is also a great visual depiction that certainly at least approximates what the Puranas say about higher realms and so forth.
