Hare Krishna, this is Anuttama Dasa reporting for ISKCON News. Today is Wednesday the 15th of January. I’m here at the Kharghar ISKCON temple, Radha Madan Mohan Mandir. You can see the beautiful temple behind me. Today, there’s many, many thousands of people here because the temple just a few minutes ago was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who spoke in a beautiful pandal area. You can see the high-rise apartments and the beautiful gardens surrounding the temple. It really is a lovely, wonderful structure. Get an idea of the people here, the beautiful garden that is part of the temple. So many people were here for this inauguration. The Prime Minister spoke very beautifully, full of heartfelt appreciation for ISKCON, for Srila Prabhupada, for the work that we’re doing to spread dharma, to spread spiritual traditions around the world. Especially mentioned working with youth and helping people around the world understand the higher purpose of life. So, it was a very, very enthusiastic talk he gave in favor of ISKCON and the contributions of Srila Prabhupada. But he particularly mentioned his friendship with His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami.
