I send this message from the heart
Since hearing you did depart
I just want to express the farewell
Since I’ve known you quite well
I believe you can possibly hear me
Since we are not the body
And the senses are quite limited
Heart vibrations are for the privileged
On that strength we can relate
Humbly, let’s look at our fate
We are born, grow, produce, dwindle, die
In all cases this does apply
It is the in-between that does count
We are tallied, then get the amount
May I say, you’ve done it well your way
No cause for any kind of dismay
I remember when you first came
You then had the Patel name
In the temple library we met
Your mind was already set
Of Krishna you were convinced
Prepared to get that mind rinsed
Of previous delusional ways
You know, we’ve all had our phase
You had this unusual wonder
Bhakti came at you like thunder
Books you took, you were on a hook
To *maya*, not a second look
From then on I saw you explode
You entered into a new abode
Taking with you your lifetime partner
You both became *bhakti *gardeners
You received – then you gave
Many souls you did save
I know a number of them
Like you, they are gems
It will be different now
And if you may allow
Let them do as you did
Place souls on the Krishna grid
That is our prime mission
It was your full decision
That is our prime joy
For we are His envoy
