At ISKCON 26 2nd Avenue, the sacred place where it all began in 1966, we will have a week of festivities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of ISKCON – July 13th 1966-2026. This week of festivities will start on Monday July 6th and conclude on Monday July 13th. We will be joined by HH Radhanath Swami, HG Adideva dasa and Vamanadeva dasa, Jadurani dd. Ramesvara dasa and other senior devotees. This will be an amazing opportunity to be present in this holiest of holy dhamas on such a historic occasion.
During the anniversary week the sacred storefront will be kept open 9am to 6pm with volunteers taking turns to cover x3 shifts per day. The brahmacaris from ISKCON New York will be coming over everyday to join the daily harinams at 3pm to 6pm from Matchless Gifts to Tompkins Square Park and back again to Matchless Gifts in time for the evening sessions.
The evening sessions will be at 6pm to 9pm with senior Srila Prabhupada disciples speaking on their memories at the sacred dham followed by video classes from devotees who cannot attend due to health constraints or distance such as HH Mukunda Swami, Janaki devi, HH Satsvarupa das Goswami to name but a few.
Prasadam will be served to all after the program.
An amazing line up of Srila Prabhupada disciples are planned to speak daily at 26 2nd Avenue (except Saturday July 11th evening hosted by the Bhakti Center at 25 1st Avenue)

Sacred Places Bus Tour
A bus tour has been planned for Saturday July 11th from 10am-1pm with HH Radhanath Swami, Jadurani devi, Ramesvara dasa and other senior devotees. Tickets are on sale now but are disappearing fast. The tour guide is Rama Raya dasa who will be pointing out all the places of significance in relation to Srila Prabhupada’s early days in New York.
Please join us for this sacred event where we celebrate the wonderful legacy of Srila Prabhupada in the place where the seed of bhakti was planted 60 years ago and has subsequently grown to a worldwide movement. In honour and recognition of the struggles and hardships that our founder acarya undertook in the lower east side of New York.
