Now that the World Cup has concluded, the greatest victory has already been achieved—not on the playing field, but in the hearts of thousands of people. Over the course of the tournament, devotees had the extraordinary opportunity to place Srila Prabhupada’s books directly into the hands of players, supporters, and visitors from nine Middle Eastern nations, where public access to Krishna consciousness literature is extremely limited and most often impossible due to strict Shariya law.
The real celebration is that Krishna, through His transcendental books, entered the homes and hearts of so many sincere souls. Those fortunate recipients received Srila Prabhupada’s books in their own native languages—Arabic and Farsi—touching their hearts in the deepest way and opening the door to spiritual knowledge that can continue to transform lives for generations.
