The project marks another milestone in ISKCON’s long-standing commitment to food relief and child nutrition in India.
ISKCON has inaugurated a new centralized kitchen in Kolkata that will begin providing freshly prepared midday meals to approximately 44,000 students in hundreds of government and government-aided schools. The facility is expected to expand its reach significantly in the coming months, eventually serving up to 250,000 children as part of West Bengal’s school nutrition program.
