60th Rathayatra in San Francisco (2026) (Album of photos)
We had the wonderful opportunity to attend the 60th Rathayatra in San Francisco at Golden Gate Park. It was truly a historic celebration, as this was the very place where the original ISKCON Rathayatra took place in 1967, a festival that has now spread all over the world! I was very fortunate to attend several Rathayatras here with Srila Prabhupada!
The park came alive with colorful Rathayatra carts, the joyful chanting of the holy names, and ecstatic dancing, followed by a sumptuous prasadam feast. It was inspiring to see devotees and people from all walks of life coming together to welcome Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra Devi. We were especially overjoyed to meet old friends and make new ones. It was a beautiful day of transcendental celebration in the heart of San Francisco.
