Dear Devotees,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
His Holiness Vrajendranandana Swami, a dedicated disciple of Srila Prabhupada, is currently in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of a Malaysian hospital. Maharaja has suffered from ill health for years, which has now lead to a complete disfunction of the liver. Due to the consequent impure blood flowing to the brain, Maharaja is now in a coma from which doctors say he is unlikely to awaken.
It is our humble request to all of you to sincerely offer your prayers at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada to keep Maharaja in the shelter of his loving grace, as he has done over the past forty years. And following the instructions His Divine Grace offered us, let us request Sri Sri Radha-Krsna, “My dear Lord, if you so desire, please allow Vrajendranandana Swami Maharaja to continue in his service here and allow us to continue to benefit from his association.”
Vrajendranandana Swami has been serving in the Malaysian yatra, where he is also temple president, for nearly four decades after joining ISKCON in the UK. We offer our sincere prayers also for Maharaja’s disciples that the Lord may give them the faith and strength to follow Maharaja’s example of steady Krsna consciousness at this difficult time.
Thank you very much.
Hare Krsna,
Your servants,
Tamohara Das
Anuttama Das
