Earlier in the day there was a gathering at Parasurama prabhu’s Matchless Gifts centre in Kings Cross to share prasad and memories of Tribhuvanatha prabhu
Then in the evening TWO HUNDRED Vaisnavas came together to perform ecstatic Samkirtan.
Just like a tsunami, they flooded the West End with the joyful sound of the Holy Names.
Cambridge Circus, China Town and Leicester Square were all inundated in the flood.
Hundreds were drawn into the chanting and dancing. Nobody could escape. Everybody at least got sprayed with some nectar.
Over 2,000 copies of Srila Prabhupada’s “On Chanting Hare Krsna” booklet were freely distributed by our team.
There is a line in a famous pop song
“Oh – I Wish it Could Be Christmas Every Day”
Well – if this many devotees would show up, with this much enthusiasm, EVERY Saturday night , for street chanting

I wish it could be Tribhuvanatha’s Birthday EVERY DAY.
Please don’t get me wrong.
Trib had his difficulties in spiritual life, and even went away for a little while. BUT his total enthusiasm and dedication to singing, dancing and preaching the Holy Names is practically second to none. His transcendental service to Srila Prabhupada’s and Lord Chaitanya’s Holy Samkirtan Mission puts his name right there at the top of the list when the Krpa Siddhis are handed out.
I just heard His Divine Grace say in a Mayapur Room Conversation 1977 that, just as Lord Krsna brings his associates with him when He descends, in the same way the Spiritual Master brings his disciples to help with his mission.
Tribhuvanatha prabhu was such a disciple.
He was the first devotee I ever laid eyes on and the first devotee to preach to me about Krsna. It was outside the Students Union in Dumfries Place, Cardiff, in the Spring of 1971.
Tribhuvanatha’s brother Jim was at the beginning of the Harinam outside the Soho St. Temple. I took the opportunity to speak with him and express my appreciation for his brother who had help change my life forever.
I was overjoyed that while making this short video clip, I notice several senior Vaisnavis suddenly appear in my camera lens. See if you can spot and name them.
