On the auspicious occasion of Baladev Purnima, August 29, 2015, a grand function including the visit of His Excellency the Governor of Punjab and Haryana Professor Kaptan Singh Solanki, was organized by ISKCON at the new six acre plot of land that was acquired in the recent past from the Haryana State Government. At the function, marking the beginning of construction of a grand temple for Krishna and Arjuna, the Diety of Anantadev was installed by HH Gopal Krishna Goswami, ISKCON GBC for most of North India as well as one of ISKCON’s diksha gurus, in the presence of His Excellency the Governor.
