hare krsna prabhu,s, i have been serving krsnaunch over 10 years, driving , loading and un loading the truck , and maintaining the food carts, which are airline carts. yes there is a steady flow of new people always coming to krishna house and becoming enlivened devotee,s . i have seen this many times over. some open centers after leaving, some become full time book distributors, it is amazing . and there are many young people born into the hare krsna movement also living at krsna house. some have come from hindu or indian families, and others from everywhere else. everyone improves their lives. some continue schooling . Kalakanta prabhu has done an excellent job of over seeing the whole affair. over 20 years ago the devotee,s were arrested at the U of Florida plaza of america,s where the prasadam is distributed, and the devotee,s won the court case, setting a precident . .
So this is a house where everyone has been proven to not just live, but prosper spiritually. What can the rest of us learn from this example? Kalakantha pr and his team have demonstrated a successful formula for making devotees in the US. Young people practice sadhana, make vows, take initiation, and multiply? What's not to like? Gender equality is a feature of the Krishna House preaching. Those in opposition to women taking positions of leadership in Iskcon would do well to seek out hearing about the experience of such a seasoned and successful devotee as Kalakantha pr. Nothing speaks louder than results. Abinandandam!
