Bhakti Chaitanya Maharaja recently had surgery of the prostate. The surgery was successful and he is now recovering at the Radha Radhanath temple in Durban, South Africa.
Thank you to all the devotees who offered prayers.
A biopsy was also done on the prostate. The analysis of the tissue showed that the prostate is cancerous. It is not clear how serious it is. Further research will have to be done to ascertain that.
This will be done over the following few weeks. We expect to have a clear picture within six weeks, and a course of
action decided on.

There will be various post-operation check-ups/ scans and tests that will have to be carried out over the next few weeks.
His body is healing well but will need the next 6 weeks to heal properly.
Please continue to keep Him in your prayers.
Although he would be more accessible now please allow him to rest. Due to infection control, It’s in his best interests to not be around many people at this stage.
