About Nirakula Devi
She joined ISKCON and got initiated in LA in 1973. In LA she served as pujari, worked at BBT and with her good friend, Bhadra Devi, co-authored the first Higher Taste cookbook. She has been living in the San Francisco Bay Area, with her husband, Vaisesika Dasa, for 30+ years and serves at ISKCON of Silicon Valley (commonly known as ISV).
