Sharing the Gita

Bhagavad Gita

Bhagavad-gita is having an influence on a friend of mine and on my sister-in-law.

I received a shipment of these books and asked Krishna to help me distribute them to those ready to receive this knowledge. So far, I distributed two Gitas.

The first was to my sister-in-law, who has always been searching for this sort of knowledge. Like me, she searched high and low, only to be dissatisfied with the results of her searches.

When I received the book, I instantly understood that what it contains is the goal of all searching, for this is the highest knowledge. Inspired by Krishna, I felt a deep love for others and desired to help them obtain this knowledge. So now I find myself always thinking and talking about the divine, Bhagavan Krishna. Those that hear want to know more. To those who seek more, I offered a Gita.

My sister-in-law and I have been discussing it. As she reads the book, we have been sharing insights via texts and phone calls. She now chants the maha-mantra and has felt the joy of this divine vibration. Recently, she found the ISKCON center in Orlando, Florida. Going to the temple, she meets other Krishna-conscious people.

As for my friend, he recently came to my home for a visit. Although there were a number of people here, as we were hosting a party, he and I conversed about some of the knowledge in the Gita. Upon his hearing the message that Krishna was sharing through me, he paused, with a sudden look on his face. I could see in his eyes that Krishna was illuminating his soul, and he asked me where this information comes from. I went to the place I keep these books, and I gave one to him.

At the end of the night he thanked me, and as he left, I saw how he held the book with great respect. Of course, he will read it.

Hare Krishna!
