Q: When and how did you start practicing Krishna Consciousness?
\n\tA: Throughout my time in college from 2017 to 2021, I was exploring and practicing various spiritual traditions. When I found Krishna consciousness during this exploration period, I found that the sincerity of the practitioners, the completeness of the philosophy, and the rich history of the tradition compelled me to dive in. <\/p>\n
Q: Why did you want to move into Bhakti Center\u2019s ashram training program?
\n\tA: I wanted to constantly be around and learn from the bhakti center community members, who Iive and teach the heart of bhakti teachings in an extraordinarily wise, compassionate and relatable way to modern times. <\/p>\n
Q: What has been your experience so far being in Bhakti Center\u2019s ashram training program?
\n\tA: Since arriving at the bhakti center, I\u2019ve been extremely happy and grateful for the unceasing opportunities to step into the richness of Krishna consciousness to a totally new depth. I\u2019ve also been extremely cared for physically, mentally and spiritually by the community.<\/p>\n
Q: How has the program changed your spiritual life and personal growth?
\n\tA: My spiritual life has been ignited and inspired by constantly being surrounded by a Krishna conscious environment at the bhakti center. I\u2019ve experienced a newfound ability to appreciate the teachings and sages in the Krishna consciousness tradition and a newfound joy in devotional service. <\/p>\n
Q: What has been your favorite part of the training program?
\n\tA: Having the opportunity to learn from and be guided by bhakti center community members who are farther along the spiritual path than I am has been my favorite source of inspiration and joy. <\/p>\n
Q: How do you feel the training program will support you in your long term Krishna Consciousness?
\n\tA: The training program will have provided me the ability to have created a structured morning spiritual practice for myself. It will also have enabled me to develop key life-long friendships and mentors along the path of Krishna consciousness. Additionally, the training program will leave a deep life-long impression on my consciousness of the joy of ashram living and being immersed in a community of sincere and dedicated Krishna consciousness practitioners. <\/p>\n
Q: What should others expect who want to join the program?
\n\tA: They should expect a program filled with lots of opportunities to go deep in their practice of Krishna consciousness through incredible morning programs, amazing classes on ancient wisdom texts from great scholars and seasoned practitioners, frequent opportunities for ecstatic group chanting and dancing, and constant opportunities for service in the heart of Manhattan to share your heart and realizations with the surrounding community in New York City.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
